I agree.

Ex Graphics Whore.
I think the CGI trailer of KZ3 could have looked much better (tech was there), but since it was supposed to be "gameplay"...
It's amazing how much more polished Killzone 2 looked at launch.
I'm sure we can expect the same for Shadow fall. *_*

Shadow Fall looks a million times better (obviously) and it is indeed a real demo.
No comparison needed ;o
btw, what's going on with your avatar?
Excuse my ignorance... but can you name other games with public (general) render target presentations? (besides KZ2)

I'm confused. Don't you mean the CGI of Killzone 2? |
Yes, my bad.
| CGI-Quality said: I wouldn't say that ShadowFall looks "a million times better". I'm one who doesn't think, outside of lighting, that ShadowFall looks better at all. That target render still hasn't been matched by any console/PC games. What I do think, however, is that ShadowFall makes the point that games are getting close to that (and have exceed it in spots). Btw, PM for avvy details. |
Oh hell no. Crysis, The Last of Us and a lot more have already passed it graphicaly imo.
Look at the awesome lighting and all that shiznit in KZ:SF. You gotta be kidding me to think that it doesn't look better than KZ2's target render.

It depends on what you understand by lighting (effects + tricks -> probably). Real lighting (GI) - no way.

For me the KZ2 real-time is close to KZ2 GGI... Shadow Flaw is miles ahead.
