We all know how Nintendo brought into gaming two great innovations last gen. The touch screen on the DS and motion controls on the Wii.
So here's my question for today: Which of these innovations do you feel have been more meaningful to video games and why? Which has changed the way you play games for good?
For me personally I'd have to say touch screens have been more meaningful. In fact touch screens have been so well implemented that they feel almost just as natural as dual analogue sticks as input devices for games. On the other hand while motion controls were interesting when they first came out on the Wii, and later reinvigorated with the Kinect, which had potential, whenever I use them they feel somewhat forced. I don't get the "normal" feeling from them as I get with touch screens, analogue sticks or D-pad.
What about you?
