LoL just wait and see the sony hate the next couple of weeks. NPD comes and thats always a reason to hate on sony. GoW doing less than expected in terms of metascore will make the threads blow up just as they are now. im personally getting a pit sick of it

Not everyone likes the "full of new stuff" such as the changes to the Multiplayer which I won't go into here (PM me if you want) but I suspect you know this already since you seem like a hardcore fan :) |
It has the best multiplayer of the entire series. The only people who are complaining are the same people who complained when Reach improved on Halo 3 and they are the same people who complained when Halo 3 improved on Halo 2. They are the type of people that don't like change, especialy when changes level the playing field and don't let them exploit for kills. Halo 4 single player is one of the best single player experiences of this generation. The multiplayer is perfectly balanced and more fun than any of the previous games. If you don't like the new stuff, you can turn it all off and play exactly like Halo 2. And then there's Spartan Ops, which doubles the size of the game. I played it to completion by myself, but it's tons of fun in co-op too. Halo 4 is like three full sized games in one package with the best level editor in any console action game. I remade the Facility from Goldeneye and relived old times with friends.

lol I believe sony wins that and is very well known. And as ive saiod before i didnt even want to make this thread and i wasnt trying to compare the two. I tried to be as fair as possible and even included Fable The Journey. I mean i could have very easily inflated the numbers. Both lists has an obvious problem too.
MSFT isnt releasing core games consistently.
Sony is releasing to many mediocre games.
Both has problems. With that said lets let this thread die now. I dont want to argue with anybody else accusing me of things (not you)

you know what i find very very funny, when ever people start accusing you of stuff and flame wars happen, you always reply to me. explain your point and honestly explain you didnt want to start shit and then after saying whats boiling up in your heart you put (not you) between brackets. this happens A LOT because you know i know you dont want to start shit and i know your intentions and know i wont argue with you hahaha.
and the thing is, the games they are releasing arent really mediocre, have you played them? personally i played PS all start, twisted metal, and starhawk, all got about the same reviews. they are alll awesome games. but the thing is, they arent AAA big budget games, and i think thats the reason why they get these reviews.

The only exclusives i bought last year was Halo 4 and the Jak Collection. Other than that multiplat games and a lot of arcade games like journey, trials evolution, etc.

You list a great deal of things however subtle games that do something completely different and unique can be marvelous too. I am refering to Journey which stole a lot of thunder in 2012. What you describe regarding fans not liking changes: It's really out of your control. I know people who like Reach, some who like 3, others who despise Reach and 4 and etc. For Halo 4 the critisism I saw the most from both reviews and fans alike was what I mentioned. Whatever you loved is great but you are not everyone else (sadly) xD.

The only issue with your post is that Crackdown 2 came out in 2010 and this is 2013 thats 8 core games in 3 years.

Sadly i had to go back that far for core games. They are releasing 2.3 core games per average (1st party, excluding 3rd party) a year

last year wasnt really good on exclusives, from all 3 companies.
and yeah another thing was that these games really dont appeal to much people. starhawk specially can no way be anyways cup of tea. the scale of the multiplayer is huge and its definitely easy. heck i slaughter when i i play shooters online. Killzone, uncharted, CoD i can top the servers easily, but starhawk, even after playing it for quiet a good time, i still see my self learning and finding a hard time doing OK.
twisted metal is just a blast, honestly, its just so fun to play 4 player split screen. but it isnt really an AAA tittle, the same goes for PS all starts
