Installed it yesterday. There was one available server in Romania or somewhere around (it said "East Europe II") but it wouldn't let my enter. All the other servers were occupied or saturated. First time I've ever bought a game and been unable to play it...

Stop supporting EA. They are bad for gaming and supporting them is a self-destructive behavior.

Wow PC games have really moved on in the past couple of years...

I'm totally out of the loop and havent bought a PC game since The Sims 3 - what the heck is going on?! My better half bought SimCity for me as a surprise because I'd mentioned how I used to love the game, sadly not anymore.

I can't believe EA have ruined what may have been a great game (I dont know because I couldnt get on it after 3 hours) with "online only" - what where they thinking? It's not even as if SimCity is a multi player game... It's not like some cheap smartphone game, it's supposed to be a big title from a big company.

Just sent my copy back and I really hope this comes back to bite EA on the arse.
