Were it not for the potential of it being cross platform ps3/ps4/vita, i'd agree, but the idea of a proper minecraft on a portable device would drive sales immensely.

Also, as i said in another thread, it sucks for WiiU users, because not only could they use the display controller for inventory, but technically it could be setup so in off-screen play you move the controller around to pan around the minecraft world in realtime.

But hey, one of these days nintendo fans are going to revolt at the way nintendo operates and realize that doing so would result in much more games and new franchises to the system would be had.

Sadly, until millions stop buying every mario game they can churn out, you're giving nintendo absolutely no reason to consider expanding it's horizons.

Are we supposed to stop buying games we enjoy? That doesn't make sense. They already have plenty incentive to expand, they need more console sales.

Besides, I'll easily take another 2D Mario over ports of games I can just get on the PC.

But seriously Minecraft never delivered what it notch promised and without the community the game is nothing (do mods/plugins work on 360?)

This would be great. I was hoping they would port it to the PS3 and/or PS4. And if they make it a cross-buy game for the Vita, it should do even better. I think a million or two is the minimum for this game on PSN.

You know what would be awesome? Cross-play between consoles. I think only a reduced numbers of games allow playing with people with different console, like Skulls of the Shogun. This game could be greater if it were to be possible.
