Im only about 2 hours in, had exams and Ascension took up most of my times and I am really into GoWs MP xD

What is kind of stopping me from playing TR is the story in a way.

Like.. Lara is so innocent while I am a killing machine.

Now this isnt the real issue, the issue is: When does the story actually pick up? Are we going after some treasure anytime soon? xD

SO far they've only mentioned the sun fire god of China or some shit XD but unlike say UC3 and UC2, Lara isn't going through a plan and telling me all about the myth and stuff. I've found notes and journals or something but I am too lazy to read them :[. Maybe I should?

Basically: When (IF EVER) does the "oh no we're on an island" start changing to "okay were on an island lets find the 'treasure'"?

I looted like one tomb, it didnt do much. Am I missing something here? Why should I loot tombs?

It's Sunfire God of Japan... not China..... You do more exploration in the game unlike Uncharted. When you raid a tomb(which gives you a lot of xp usually, pretty much 1 skill point per tomb until you are on the last 2 skill points), you usually find the map for all other treasures on the map and GPS locations for XP and possibly trophy whoring if you are into that.

I actually just 100%ed everything on the maps last night, and when I first finished the game, I was already at 93% and that gave me all skill points and all upgrades, so it's worth it if you want the xp to do cool shit and rape people with finishers.

You also don't have to read anything, you can just listen since there is voice acting for all the journals.

It's a very different game compared to Uncharted which I've mentioned in another thread, so don't think about Uncharted when you play it lol. Lara does gradually get more and more fucked up though...

I haven't finished the game yet, either.  Things pick up.  The narrative isn't as tight as Uncharted but it's just as exciting--espescially the set pieces.  Don't want to spoil it for you.  In fact, don't watch any videos and, if possible, go back in time and stop yourself from watching trailers, too.

The notes/journals I've found read themselves!  No reading required.  Are you too lazy to listen?

Looting tombs gives you a ton of experience and stuff to learn more moves and upgrade your weapons.  You'll find stuff on your own and right now, upgrading abilities and weapons seem like a waste of time but later on in the game, you'll wish your weapon was just a tad more accurate, fired just a bit faster, or had better range.  Then, like me, you'll be looking for "hidden tombs".  The upgrade system is actually pretty nice.  I was kinda put off by it at first.  Of course, if you're not into puzzles (you are an Uncharted fan), I don't think you ever really NEED to find them.  You'll probably find enough upgrade material on your own.

Me, I like it more than Uncharted 3 and about as much as Uncharted 2 but I haven't finished the game, yet.  No idea how much more I have to go.

Who knows which Console Version looks/perform better ? I own both PS3 and 360, and I will buy the best version, even if by a small margin. This Game deserves the best Version :) No wars, no flames, just an honest opinion/fact.
