You like Tales of games. Tales of Xillia is coming out soon exclusively for PS3. You like Vanquish? Vanquish is free for PS+ members.

Take all that into consideration. I hope this helps.

To be honest I do want a PS3 more than a 360 but in the end it'll probably be price and available deals that decides that for me. Both have a bunch of exclusives I want to try so hopefully I'll have them both before the end of the year.  I'm not a huge Tales fan (Tales of Symphonia 2 severly damaged the Tales fan in me and I haven't touched a Tales game since I threw away that stupid game) but both Graces F and Xillia have my attention.

I wouldn't get PS+. It doesn't work with my gaming habits.

What happens to Vanquish when your PS+ runs out?

When you beat the game, does it matter what happens when your sub runs out?

I thought you said it was free?

As long as you stay a PS+ member. Yes, that is part of the perks.

LOL, I didn't know that. I thought once you downloaded it that was it, it was yours to keep forever. To play it even in single player you have to pay. It's worse than xbox live gold....

They really sucker you in, don't they? You think it's "free" LOL!!

I'm in a similar spot as you, even if it's a bit different ;) I'm not a fanboy of any manufacturer, even if I'm mainly a Sony guy and then a Nintendo guy. I have a PS3 and Wii, but I also want the X360 to play the games I couldn't play on PS3. Still I'm waiting for the inevitable price drop. It will come. It has to come, there is no need to rush. I don't think these consoles are worth their price at this point, even 180. I will buy the X360 (with 250 GB) when I find it for 130 or something like that. 130 is the most I'm willing to pay just to play those Halo, Gears of War, Alan Wake, Fable and few other RPGs that are exclusive for this console.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I would get you already have a pretty good reason to get one it you already have Eternal Sonata which is a pretty good game.  If you get it you should also get Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery.

I definitely have enough reasons to get a 360 though a more um, preferable reason would be...preferable. If that makes sense. And if I got a 360 now I'd have to put other games on hold that I might want more.

Don't know about IU but I'd totally get Lost Odyssey! Semi-interested in Blue Dragon as well.

That's why it doesn't connect with me. I never know when I feel like playing a certain game and sometimes it takes months before I even try a game I got at launch, even if I really looked forward to that game. I need to own my games, forever and ever and ever!

I don't know what you're getting on about, but I'd advise you to do some research before you "LOL"

12 games for PlayStation 3 and 6 for PS Vita

New games added to your collection every month

Exclusive discounts of 10% - 75% on the PlayStation Store.

Let me ask you a question. Do you keep downloaded games that you beaten? Isn't that a waste of space?

Fact of the matter is, he can download 12 new games every month without buying them, beat them and then move on. How is that being suckered? Explain.

The game is as free as online is free on XBL.

Pay For Free would be a fitting name for these services.

First off, sorry for derailing the thread forest...

Second, you're telling me you've never, ever played a game through twice? Played it say a year apart, getting caught back up for a sequel about to be released or something? Or liked a game online mode so much you've played that more than other single player games?

You'd have to pay for the "free" game and if you're subscription ran out, pay for the free game again or buy the game retail. Playing a game more than once is a very, very, insanely common thing. Also, especially the ps360 gen, online multiplayer is insanely common. I know people that don't even play single player at all. If it was a ps+ game, you're essentially paying to play exactly like xbl gold.

lmao i love how people is trying to turn you away from getting it haha.

It is a great console and if you like western games it is amazing. Smart Glass plust Xbox Video is amazing. I pretty much replace my DVR with X360. The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The big Bang Theory is all on Xbox video and you just pay a little bit for each episode. Or you can buy a season pass. Either way it is way cheaper than a DVR box.

XBL is great if you want to use it, Halo is amazing too and easily one of this generations best games. If you like vanquish then youll love gears. Just saying. And seriously 180, that is cheap lol

What it really comes down to though is will you use the Apps and play the games on the X360.  It truly is a multimedia device though and will only get better from here.
