Im not sure on what you are saying though? You have me all confused and discombobulated
The Western Market has always been a bigger market in entertainment for obvious reasons. All three of the gaming giants want their consoles to do well in the West, again for obvious reasons.
The West/East game preferences are pretty similar. Of course Sony would go after these markets with the PS4. Look at how PS3 sold in Japan.....it is obvious that the western markets are much more important for the success of a console. This is why PS4 is the first Playstation console to be be researched and developed in America, not Japan.
I don't even know what a wRPG is. It seems to include everything from FPS to TPS games.

Where's the Giant Enemy Crab? Why do the numbers seem to low? 62 PS3 games over a million in the West? More like 100+. Unless you only count NA as the West. |
Oh nom i think you read it wrong.
62 games in west, not world wide
We in the west have terrible taste in games.
Especially when it comes to RPGs.
I feel very naughty each time I load up a WRPG on my PS3.

Completely agreed. OP is just mad that Japanese games are popular in this website. Don't worry OP, there are plenty of websites were people eat up the next fps from EA or Activision.

Good games sell well ;) Oh and id say Sony and Microsoft are just as westernized as EA and Activision.
