this gens not over yet unlike some that say it is, untill the 10 year life cycle of the PS3 is over then this gen will be over, sony said from the start the PS3 was a 10 year console so there is still 3 years left to go (3.5 if your in the UK), ill bet some one is rushing to delete his youtube channel to save him self from embarasment lol.

I think the ps3 will still be alvie longer then that 10 year plan.

had to correct my post from 2.5 years to 3 for the US/JAP and 3.5 years for the UK as the PS3 launched in november 2006 US/JAP and march 2007 UK.

It seems to me like MS want to be back at square "One". They thought that making deals with EA sports would help them grab Europe from Sony but oh, boy, they didn't realize how this always online/no used game thing would backfire.


I don't know. I want to think you are right, but look how many people still pay for LIVE.

I don't worry about them grabbing America yet again by the balls, because America is not nearly enough these days. PS4 should launch in Europe right from the start and that will give it a huge advantage, along with Japan.

They are good at marketing their product. Most people who have a 360 think it is ok to pay for online, even though the PS3 gives you the same for free. These same people will buy the XB1 if Microsoft advertise enough. Especially if the buying on contract happens.
