I really don't think either trademark has anything to do with Guerrilla Games and I'd even be willing to say they're not even first-party developed.

Kill Strain sounds like a stealthish game to me and that is what Sony Bend is supposedly working on. Entwined actually sounds like something Quantic Dream would call one of their games, but I don't know if they usually do their trademarking through quantic dream or sony.

Yeah but still. Notice the trademark. It makes no mention of a disc-based game. It's something downloadable over a network and wireless devices. My guess is that they're Indie games for the Vita and possibly PS4.

Did The Order mention about being disc-based when it was trademarked? I wouldn't think it would be too hard to add more to a trademark after an announcement? I really have no idea as I don't really follow how trademarks really work when they are made.

I'm not sure but typically a trademark for a game is immediately declared as being disc-based, downloadable, or both. There is little point in them NOT filing a trademark for it to be something disc-based unless it's something they didn't originally intend.

Hmm, well E3 needs to come faster because I am intriqued by the titles!!

The Order says "Computer game software; Video game software" There doesn't seem to be any indication in The Order as to it being disc-based or digital. |
Find the actual trademark and I'll bet you'll find where it says it's for a disc-based game. When Blizzard trademarks something for their games that will be disc-based they always specify that. This was not specified but the fact it's downloadable over a network or wireless device is. If they were going to specify that but not that it's on a disc then I have serious doubts they intend for it to be that way. Considering that it mentions wireless devices, which is likely referring to the Vita, I'm pretty sure this is not one of Sony's first-party studios making it.
Too Many games. Shit, E3 is going to be nuts!

Nope, that's where I got the quote from. 9 parts, 11 pages. The word "disc" doesn't appear in any of them. http://tsdr.uspto.gov/documentviewer?caseId=sn85908308&docId=FTK20130422072616#docIndex=0&page=1 |
Well I'll be damned. Seems like quite an omission.
