Shit ... I am sorry to hear that man. Which version do you own? Launch? I have the first slim, and I am unsure if they have been affected by the same problem. I'll probably get the newer slim version eventually since it is not a slot loading system. I've heard too many stories of people's PS3 die on them with the disc inside (for some reason MGS4 is almost always the game people tell me got stuck there).

Yeah it sucks, but then I am taking advantage of time and now I am studying and preparing for my future. I am saving money for that very reason as well, that is why I am not thinking about spending on a new PS3 at the moment, but I plan to eventually. But since I can't part ways with gaming, I need to stop by here anyways. lol Well you know, Valkyria Chronicles is right there being captive inside my PS3.

When the PS3 hit $400 I looked in eBay and bought me the MGS4 bundle with PS2 compatibility for $600. I'd like to get this one fixed someday. XD But I will probably pick the latest model when I get around to continuing the gaming.

I was playing Mario in the DS for a time. But right now I am busy with studies and some series. When I finish them I'll try some PC games that my laptop can get to handle. I am looking forward to the South Park RPG if it ever releases. lol

Totally understand. It is a major reason why I toned done gaming of late. When I was in undergrad I stopped gaming for 3 years. I only started gaming again after I finished, which was a brief period before I took the next step. Now that I am in grad school I'm gaming lightly. I spend more time here than play really. xD

School, gaming, social life and a girlfriend is just too much to juggle man, especially the latter. It is like 3 jobs. :/

I get you completely, I am afraid that once I retake my gaming I won't have time for the Skyrims and the Fallouts, specially me a completionist that spent more than 700 hours on Fallout 3. I think I will have to go with linear games and so forth when I am back. lol

Duuuuuude ... If TES 5 or Fallout 4 release anytime soon... I will have no life. Skyrim was my first real experience in those types of games, and wow did it hook me. Good thing I played it after I graduated lulz. Linear games don't take up my attention much, so you are right about that. A biger version of Skyrim would have me neglecting everything in my life again. :/

Right. We could play those games but it would either ba a situation of neglecting everything like you said, or playing one game from Bethesda for the whole generation, and I mean the only game to play the whole generation. lol
