WiiU's game drought is nothing new, really. It almost always happens. I imagine PS4/X720's post-launch months will be pretty barren as well. It's nothing unusual.

I actually think it should have came out in 2010 without the tablet controller.

I could care less about the Wii U being more powerful, the only thing Nintendo failed on was the fact that they did rush the Wii U so it's had no SW support. Other than that, it seems okay.

I agree about power. In fact, despite as a gamer I get excited on high specs, I get kind of worried about Sony pushing it so much, for example. Perhaps a cheaper console would make them more successful but they are always set on power. I support Sony but really I think they go overboard on power (ie. Vita, PS3). Next generation Wii U will be cheapest, Xbox likely to be best balanced, and PS4 most expensive again. I don't like this at all.

What I mean by power is at least closer to parity. Nintendo's first party + full third party support + a mainstream/'normal'/'not gimmicky' console (like the PS4's super straightforward hardware, but not as powerful) would be unstoppable. Why Nintendo try to go this? I really don't get it. They were successful going this route with the Super NES so I don't see a reason why they wouldn't be again.

lol, Nintendo did exactly that with GC and failed miserably sales wise
