I don't know if you're taking the piss or your source is taking the piss or you're right, but I'd say the chances of you being right are very small.

I don't see MS losing support overnight, they would have to fuck up too much, and I simply don't see what they could've done for that to happen.

From what I can gather Sony won't back down; they're making a last stand. If this goes to shit it's all over, so they're banking on the PS4 to be a success. MS will have to pull something amazing out of their slevees if they wanna give SOny a run for their money...



As I see it MS totally outwitted sony this gen. They are in a way better position and made a ton of money. MS will be on par with them if the other rumors that actually hold wieght come true.

Yes, MS outwitted SOny totally this gen, and Nintendo outwitted them both. No question about that. And xbox will not be on par with PS4. Like I said, this is do or die for sony. They either win or the exit the market.

Well dispite every rumor on the specs saying something clearly other then your saying i guess we should take you and your insiders word on that .

Ps4 and X8 will be so close together in terms of specs imo they might as well be the same console with a dif name .

Only time will tell I guess... I've heard some crazy shit...

I don't think he knows what MS is making for games, only that there apparently only will be 6 at launch. I could ask if he knows if that's 6 original 720 games, or if that also include ports...

Honestly Nintendo hasn't really shown a very strong effort towards anything that would disprove your info. I've heard about some shoddy dev tools and their hardware is extremely customized. The RAM restriction though, that's crazy.

There are three Xbox 8 pillars that Microsoft will be focusing on at E3, Xbox LIVE is one.  The second will be Kinect 2 with a demonstration/presentation of Illumiroom.  The third will be games.  However, they'll also be showcasing games and feature changes for the Xbox 360, Windows Phone 8, and Windows 8/RT/Surface.  Had your source been smarter they might have actually known what Microsoft will be doing in April, or next month for employees.

There's only one AAA exclusive game that comes to mind on the Xbox 360 that isn't on the PS3, so I'm not sure it's as big of a deal as you make it out to be.  The prediction is based on a rumor, which given the developer isn't that big of a deal.  The developer isn't an exclusive developer, so I'm not sure why one would think their games would be exclusive forever.

The Xbox was region locked.  The Xbox 360 was region locked.  What on earth would posses you to make you think the Xbox 8 wouldn't be region locked?

YEs, the thought HAS crossed my mind... But I've also seen his gaming collection. There's quite a few Nintendo DS's there... I think he has 4-5 of them. But the possibilty that MS/Nintendo is fucking up majorly is also a reality. Nintendo has already done that with the N64 and GC, remember? Sony is going out of their way to make sure PS4 will be a success. It's do or die for them.

If Ryse is this lost exclusive nobody would complain about it I think.

The only IP that really hurt Microsoft would be Gears of War, GoW is a systemseller and quite important for Xbox but MS still has a really good relationship with epic so I don't think that Microsoft let this happen.

Alan Wake is an awesome game I personally enjoy it way more than Gears of War but it is not that successful. So maybe Microsoft don't pay Remedy further for a exclusive deal and let them go multiplatform with Alan Wake.

But most likely the lost exclusive could be Ryse from Crytek, when this thing you say are true.

Oh my f'ing god, really. Yea their going to show a old fat guy taking a shit as  their first game. Next will be larry going to walmart to get the best deals. Thats why they have been bulding all these studio's up. So they can sh-t garbage out non-stop. This gen for MS will be working on first party studio's. Look who they have been hiring.

All I'm saying is that the launch titles won't be that many. What happens a year from now I can't answer for.

Well lets make a bet since you seem so sure of yourself and your supposed inside source. If there are 13 or more Xbox 720 (or whatever they call it) games released during the system's launch period then you will buy me a Xbox 720 (or whatever they call it) which I will donate to someone in this forum.  If less than 13 games are released I will buy a PS4 for you to do with as you choose.  Time to put up or shut up and request the thread be locked.

I would love to take you up on that bet! But not even my source is 100% sure about these things; he's not working with any xbox games and is only telling me things he's heard from his colleges... I might take you up on that bet as soon as I can gather new information ;)
