Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo and 3rd parties *Formerly; Nintendo is f*cking up big times with 3rd parties*

Rogerioandrade said:
Not true. They have been giving 3rd parties a lot of support. Just see the example of Platinum Games, Nintendo saved Bayonetta 2 from the Limbo, they´re working with Namco for the next SSB, they gave a lot of support to Ubisoft on the production of ZombiU and the WiiU version of AC3. Although the problem with RO, Ubi still confirmed to launch WatchDogs for the WiiU. There are some Monolith´s and Atlus coming.....
It seems that the problem for Nintendo are the western developers who always focus their production more on graphics than on gameplay.

I'll just tell you right now that the cancelled games are from Japan... Nintendo might give good support, but they still gave 3rd parties gimped dev kits.

But what proof have you got this megaton was a Wii U exclusive originally?  Any game not comign to Wii U could potentially fit this profile

ONE of the megatons is an old exclusive, but not from Nintendo. You will know what game I'm talking about when you see it.

So if I am reading correctly, I should be expecting to see a previously annouced exclusive 3rd party game on Wii U move to PS4.

ANyone knwo what these exclusive annoucements have been thus far? All I know is Bayonetta 2.

No, I don't think there will be any former Nintendo games on Sony's presentation. A xbox game on the other hand... and old faces from PS1 era...

wtf does this have anything to do with a Wii U 3rd party exclusive being cancelled by NIntendo going to another platform lol.

I think we got "megaton" mixed up with "former Wii U exclisive". I don't know when this former exclusive title will be announcened, and I'm not even sure I will be able to tell you when it is shown to the world. But it's a well known franchise. The megaton I'm talking about is all the announcenemts Sony will bring this e3, and has nothing to do with Nintendo.

so the former Wii U exclusive" is something that has been annouced before on Wii U? if so I looked at that list of Wii U titles, and there is nothign there that people would care either way about.

The former Wii U exclusive is a Japanese game that has not been announcened yet.

even more troubling is that I just heard that Nintendo has canceled 2 3rd party games to the Wii U; 1 being exclusive and 1 being a multiplat. And these games are well known, popular titles by a major publisher. The exclusive games will now probably be heading to the PS360.

Really? Nintendo cancelling upcoming 3rd party games for WiiU? That does'nt even make sense.

I know, they're stupid as hell and really shooting themselves in the foot. And it's no small games either.

well how about you name this big exclusive.

can't do that...

Not to sound like a prick but without actually knowing which game it is, you could always claim some multiplat game that is released for PS3/360 in the near future as the apparent "exclusive" that was cancelled.  Also, it's very hard to believe that Sony would take a huge hit and release the console for $349.00 when that would not be financially feasable due to the cost of the hardware in the PS4. Again I don't mean to be rude but I think that whoever is feeding you information is pulling your chain! (and not in a pleasant way, lol)

nono I understand the scepticism, I really do. But IF the PS4 is released for $349, will I appear more believable then?

Well, the best way to answer that question is with a question. Does a bear shit in the woods? :P

which brings us back full circle to my first post in this quote tree.

If it hasn't been annouced what proof have we got that it started out on Wii U and moved somewhere else.

I could as easily say this, Then wait for E3, then find the first Japanese game that isn't heading to Wii U and CLAIM it was a Wii U exclusive.

So ok then. You'll believe me after e3 ;)

I must admit this is one of the more entertaining threads ive read lately.

I dont actually know of any major 3rd party games that has been announced exclusively for the WiiU at any point in time that would couse uproar at E3 in any way, shape or form if no longer exclusive.

I'm backing up ALL my claims (how Nintendo is treating 3rd parties shitty and the cancelled games) with that I know what will happen at e3 during Sonys presentation, but since I can't tell you what games will be announcened I will simply tell you that there will be megatons at this years e3. We will see and old friend return to playstation, we will get a remake that will blow people away and we will see a former exclusive xbox title cause meltdowns, AND PS4 will get a BIG online service that no one has seen coming. If at least half of these predictions come true it should prove that I know a thing or two of what is going on within the industry, and thus prove that I know what I'm alking about in the OP.

It's not a Nintendo exclusive game that is being shown at e3 during Sony's presentation...

well we have jsut established it hasn't been annouced. SO why would we care if we don't know about it being on Wii U in the first place.

We should care because Nintendo is fucking up 3rd party support. Nintendo told the publisher "We don't want these games any more"
