Forums - Sony - PS3 77 million shipped confirmed?

PS3 shipments were 70 million as of November last year and they shipped 6.8 PS3+PS2 last quarter, so if they have shipped an additional 1-2 million so far this year it could be possible. Would probably mean that PS2 shipments were very low though. How much did they ship first quarter last year?

It's not impossible! If shipments for October 2012 were close to zero, PS2 shipments for last quarter were super low and shipments so far this year have been excellent it won't require that much time-and-space tweaking to be true.

He is just making a point but the number is close to reality... 75m+ as of Dec 2012 plus 1.1-1.4m as of Feb 2013... near 77m.

I think we’re at 77 million sold right now

Hes talking off the top of his head. Only Sony quarterly shipments matter to us.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

But then I was banned for calling some sony fans.... wait for it.... "sony fans" last week by the same mod.  Banned for "I will leave you Sony fans to discuss it"

WTF, that's absurd. Same mod huh? I see a common trend here.
