I don't care about the price

I paid 650euro (= 859.3 U.S. dollars with today's rates) for PS3 when i bought it in Nov2007, I don't expect PS4 to be more

I'd pay 300£ after the release of 3 games I'd want to buy so i probably wont get it at launch. Either my bday next year or Christmas 2014 if the price is right and the games are there.

The perfect price would be $299 but the max i would spend would be $399

right now i'm planning on purchasing the White PS4 whenever it arrives

I want PS4 to launch at $399 just so i know that the White PS4 wont be any higher than $499(i'll go out my way to get a White PS4)

I also believe that the Japanese market has the ability to thrive again if the PS4 launches at $399

and i usually wait a year before picking the console up so there will be a decent enough library.

Price has never been an issue for me. That said, it's highly unlikely that I would buy it at launch.

Just like the PS3, I would just wait for an MGS game to come out first before buying (or GT but odds are that MGS would come out first). I would be really pleasantly surprised if Konami managed to out an MGS game at launch (Ground Zeroes most probably since MGS5 doesn't seem ready for prime time yet) especially seeing that this is the year of the snake (巳年) :)

So, I talked to a Sony employee today and asked about how much it will cost. He literally said "I'm not sure, but the competition is going to price their console low. We'll price it at around the same".

I hope it doesn't go over ￥40,000/$400. That and some game I'm interested in, and I'll buy it.
