Well i don't expect it to be dominating. I am hyped because it will be awesome nevertheless. And even if its just awesome graphics.

Kinda agree. How can one be overconfident on this? You are either confident in Sony's ability to deliver on the PS4 or not. There is no real middle ground. I dont think there is anything wrong with the asseration of PS4 winning the next generation, its not like it has not happend before, so when talking about a new sony home console, that outcome should always be on the table.

Sorry I'm already in PS4 mode. This gen was refering to the 8th gen.

Of course its possible. I have no problem with confidence and hype
I have issues with posts that say things like "Sony is going to dominate this gen because MS doesnt care about gamers and only cares about Kinect and casuals". Theres posts like that all over the place.
We know nothing about the next xbox. Im telling people to be excited but dont drag down other consoles to do it
I have been more into HH gaming lately so I'm hoping they have a big focus on Vita news too. A Price Cut for the U.S would be a nice start.
OT: I don't mind it. People make delusional predictions all the time.

I personally havn't seen anybody attacking Nintendo or Microsoft and saying they have "no chance". Not saying people aren't, just that I havn't seen it yet. :p But about those people, yeah I totally agree. Like you said though, most Sony fans are reasonable hyped.

I admit i am very excited about ps4 but for me that doesn't equal a sony domination in my book, but i can see where the excitement come from, sony fans knows(or hope) that sony won't do the same mistakes this time so the possibility of being first this time is very possible. I hope that both sony and microsoft launch at almost the same time and at the same price, that will make the race more exciting and cancel the argument that went in this generation about prices and launch date.
