Final Fantasy?

Ground Zero and the Fox engine are multiplatform because the reality of next gen is that 3rd parties can't afford to make exclusives anymore. I don't expect any Metal Gear games to be exclusive going forward and I fully expect MGS4 to get a multiplatform release on all next gen machines much like MGS3 and the MGS HD collection. |
well the rumor is there are 2 third party exclusives. metal gear as an exclusive makes more sense than other franchises.

Technically speaking, nor sales-wise neither quality-wise.

I could see it being PS4 exclusive. Kojima is a bit of a PlayStation fanboy.

If there are any 3rd party PS4 exclusive they will either be timed exclusives or paid for by Sony. Since Konami has never sold Metal Gear exclusivity I doubt they would now that they have the multiplatform Fox Engine they worked so hard to build for the very purpose of creating multiplatform games. Sony does have a history of paying for Portable exclusives like COD and Bioshock, so it could be some more of that kind of stuff.

you say never but mg4 was exclusive. no clue is sony payed for that or not either way it was exclusive. if sony was going to spend money on a third party exclusive i just feel like mg is the franchise to do that in. most of the other "sony" third party game like final fantasy are viewed as fully multiplat now. mg at least has an illustion or mystere around being a sony oriented franchise and it will continue to do so until a many line mg game lands on the wiiu or xbox.

MGS4 is the only mainline MG title not to get ported. I expect it to be ported next gen just like all the other MGS games have in previous gens. The Fox Engine is multiplatform for a reason and it's not so they can sit on ports to help Sony. Unless Sony paid huge sums of cash Konami is going to want the money they can make from a larger release. The Playstation platform is not the island that it was during the PSX and PS2 eras. Publishers can't make enough on Playstation alone.
it's "2:20", which seems more like a 'time' than a date.
