Forums - Sony - I hope FUSE bombs badly

I have no interest in the game but I wish them all the best...

I actually don't mind that they've gone multiplatform. I feel as a developer they've moved further away from the cutting edge and work well as a 3rd party. I doubt they'll be producing 5m selling games but I think they can find a nieche if they budget themselfs appropriately next gen.

I guess you guys all forgot how FFXIII was significantly cut short because 360's cheap DVD's were less than half the size of PS3's blu-rays.

yes, that would be a great conspiracy theory if the 360 version was a single disc... but since the 360 version was three discs long, that statement is bogus.

3 discs.... and they still had to come out with a FFXIII-2 just to get all the content out that was supposed to be part of the original game if it were on Blu Ray.

yeah, definitely, FFXIII-2 was obviously made because they had to cut content from XIII.  It isn't like it had a completely different story that took place several years later or anything...  It isn't like Square had any other reason to release a second game other than they just had some cut content laying about...

Or, perhaps square just made their game multiplat and wanted to make more money so they made a sequel... hmmm, wait a sec, that does sound much more logical... hmmm...

loool, let the troll be.

Wishing a developer to fail is a horrible way for a gamer to think. These are real people with families to feed, who work awful hours. Remember that nowadays one title that fails often spells the end of a developer, and we've lost several good ones lately.

I also hope it bombs. Not so much that it kills the studio, but enough that it makes them change their development process. Fuse looks like a huge downgrade from previous Insomniac games. If it's unsuccessful then perhaps they will go back to their roots. It doesn't matter if they go back to Ratchet or a new IP as long as they use their creativity. I couldn't care less if it was exclusive or not.

so Insomniac runs back to Sony.

and by the looks of it.... it might just happen. There is NO hype for this game at all, and its going to be even more lost in the Next-Gen hype.

Probably won't even do Dead Space type of sales.

Hey, did you see the E3 XBox One EXCLUSIVE Insomniac had?  Where is the running back to Sony?

Heres hoping they clean up their act.

But its still funny MS stole them away. Historical.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I think you probabably mean hysterical there.  What MS did with the one title is not historic.  As a Microsoft console partisan, it would make sense you find it funny.

I actually hope they do good because if fuse fails they could go out of business

They ran to microsoft instead.

To be honest, since the original spyro and the first Ratchet and Clank on PS2, they have not done anything good. I am expecting them to go down, i dont think much will be lost. Their talent probably left already.
