does anyone think Sony may push to take Netflix on and stream movies?

Well they already distribute movies for people to download so I don't see how a streaming deal could be much different

Oh I see, i did not know that unless you are talking about the playstation 3.. Instantly streaming movies to tablets, pc's and internet capable TV's could maybe be a profitable venture for them though

yeah I meant PS3.  I would guess they introduce their service on PS4 as part of Plus or something to spearhead, but also open it up to other devices in the near future or at the same time.  It would add another incentive to plus and undercut Netflix to get itself off the ground.

Very plausible i guess we will find out soon enough

I would love it I'm picking up that 15 months of Plus for the price of 12 as soon as my tax returns go through so I'll be covered up till Feb. 2015 I think

Get Your Portable ID!Lord of Ratchet and Clank

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

I don't think cloud gaming will accessible enough for it to be used as the only BC option.

I liked the rumour about the cell being in ps4 to assist the CPU/GPU, meaning it actually benefits ps4 games as well and has value system outside of playing games old games. Not how much sense that makes or if its at all realistic/plausible.

Random thought: Maybe sony will release PS3 box in 2014, It'll be free but come come with a small monthly subscription. You'd have to get your games via cloud but it would have a 4G chip inside (part of what the monthly payment would go towards). Anyone else think they could make a killing out of that?

I prefer keeping my PS3 next to my future consoles and don't buy my games again ...

I bought a years worth about 5 months ago after purchasing only several games the entire generation ps+ has been crazy value to me, to be honest a lot of the games i have downloaded on plus i probably would have paid for had i known they were worth the risk of purchasing.  Maybe they will sort that issue aswell with instantly streamable demos, i have not downloaded a single demo. Either way im looking forward to a lot about the reveal
