lol ok. Not debating that. Love the role reversal here. With every PS3 IP, its all about reviews.....GT is the only one where the fans instinctively run to the sales card.

Was just saying that the GT games this gen could have been better reviewed, sorry if that hit a nerve.

No offense but Sales is right in what he is saying.  The sales have been good but the games themselves have had problems and that is not rigged in anyway.  Ill take GT5 for example which I believe has an 83 on metacritic.  It was really cool that they put some premium cars in the game that was relistic on the inside but they had 100s and 100s of copy and paste cars from GT4.  The trees was like cardboard and the crowd as well.  It also has no damage on cars like forza or customization.  Forza raised the bar in my opinion this gen with car simulators.  It added more gameplay elements and while it doesnt sell as well as GT by  many people who have played both will say Forza is the better game which the reviews reflect that.  A game that takes 5-6 years to make better be very good. If Turn 10 can make a better game in 2 years imagine with 6 years.

Didnt polyphony make the PSP Gran turismo aswell in those years? They might also be working on a Vita one. They also make concept software for car manufacturers and car expo's. They dont do videogames only, and Gran turismo is still a beast in sales, so it might take a while but its worth the wait somehow (personally i grew bored of the series by GT3 though).

For me the biggest shocker is they havent released any more Ape escape installments. Thats a pretty fun game.

Reviews are a one mans opinion some of them gave it a 10/10 some of them gave it an 8/10. They didn't attack the gameplay (the most important) they praised it.

The only negative thing they said is that some of the cars are updated from GT4.

May i ask you, how many times have you played a game that got a 70+%-80+% on metacritic and you found it better than a 90% reviewed game? i have, A LOT!

The thread OP has nothing to do with reviews. Its about them releasing only one game (which was false anyway), and implying that they failed this gen, I brought up sales to counter his argument.

OT:  Yoshida may have done a poor job with the Japanese studios. But his work with the western studios was great.   SM,ND and MM have become very productive studios.
