Oh so no price cut coming...

That's not for certain.  They could be planning a price cut but don't expect it to work that well.

that doesnt really make any sense, the only reason to cut the price is to increase the sales. if they dont expect to increase sales then why cut the price and lose that revenue?

The target was 13... you really think a price drop would move that many?

certainly not. but the target was 10 in novermber. a drastic price cut like the one the 3DS has could have the same effect it had on the 3DS. but my point is, if they dont expect the price cut to work well, why even bother with it and lose money?

The price cut itself won't help Vita and it wasn't what saved the 3DS. 3DS was saved by the cut combined with a few must-have titles. That's what Sony needs to give us. If there are no big games coming out, a price cut would be just a waste of money. What they need to do is cut the price some time before Killzone gets out. And this game should be realesed earlier than they announced it. They can't release their most important game of 2013 the same day GTA 5 is released...

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I reckon the Vita will be Sony's last portable. They don't really know what they are doing in the portable market. It's like they don't realize the majority of portable gamers are kids.

ouch.

At least they aren't over-predicting like Nintendo seems to love to do.

lets be honest, the price cut did save the 3DS. the big games that came out continued its momentum. and thats why the vita should have its price cut around the same time the 3DS had its.

They need to drop the price on everything.

The system is too expensive.
Games are too expensive.
Memory cards are way too expensive.
