PS4 will be announced. It's guaranteed. Sony invited investors to the event. You don't hype the "Future of Playstation" and invite investors and do a live stream just to fock around. If they don't announce the PS4, this stock is sure to plummet. Invited investors would make sure of that.

So a next-gen software platform launch wouldn't be important? It's still Sony's first next-gen announcement, whether software or hardware based. And as they spent $380 million on Gaikai, they have to say something about it soon. I don't deny that it will probably have some mention of the PS4, just that it may have a heavy Gaikai focus.

It's highly likely that it is the PS4, i mean PS Vita was announced around this time, 2 years ago. So it makes sense. Hear's hoping for a Vita price cut at the same time!

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
I doubt it's PS4. They might tease the next Playstation console, but the real announcement will be a cardless PS Vita Go that only plays games purchased on the PS Store and you can't transfer the games you already have on cards. Also it will cost more than the original PS Vita and have less functional nubs and be uncomfortably compact.
It's the PS4.
But I don't expect so much info in 20th Feb... just the announce with some tech demos.... no games yet.

sigh listen..this is the ps4 reveal. It's being confirmed by several trusted sources already. They will not bother holding an event called the PS Meeting if it wasn't a hardware reveal. This is a special event sony does to unveil hardware and afaik there has been no exceptions.
Gaikai will be a part of their future strategy but they won't have a whole event just for that. Gaikai will get mentioned most probably during this event as well as at E3.
If you are so confident I am even willing to take a bet on this :)
