Alright we got a new HDTV. My Dad's pretty lazy and only wants to use one remote, but for some reason, we have to use the TV's remote to change the volume, and cannot simply use the cable box's. When we had it hooked up with component cables we could use only one remote, but now when we have it hooked up through HDMI, we need to use the 2 seperate remotes. Any ideas why this happened, and how to fix it?
