I don't know why you guys want new hardware already.

To troll me, they would need to announce PS4. I don't want it, I don't need it, and the PS3 is doing fine right now. It would be financially stupid to it this early when you still have many blockbuster games coming out on your primary console and sales are riding higher than the 360 & Wii.

I would much rather like to see a new operating system/improved version. Better application integration & communication between all their devices and better 3rd party app support for their hardware. Squeeze as much as possible of their current generation without having to make customers buy new hardware. It's stuff like this that makes customer loyalty and support.

at the moment i dont want a ps4, but i know after GoW, The last of us, puppeteer, beyond and all the awesome games that are coming out this year that by early 2014 i would want a new console. i would have had my ps3 for about 5 years then and it would feel like a good time to start to think about an upgrade. honestly if anyone is supporting there console is sony. what have nintendo done in the past two years other than zelda? MS just has gears of war and the last one released less than a year and half ago. even though sony is making ps4, they are clearly still supporting the ps3 heavily
