I haven't played Dota but from videos/gameplay interviews I've watched LoL is more user accesible and a bit less hardcore. It also looks more fun, but again I haven't played Dota. I need to try Dota but you should download League!

Cant really summarize the game(s) because there's just so much in the two games that it would take me hours to explain to you D: (Plus I dont know everything).

That's ok. I will just play LoL some day and see the differences ;)

That article perfectly describes my dilemma.

I want to play LoL, because it's more fun at a lower level and I don't want to think very hard (if I did I'd play SC2).

But Dota2 is the better and more dynamic esport to watch. LoL tournaments are boring and long.
