I hate annoying fanboys from all consoles.

I don't hate any console maker. I do however dislike certain things that they do. For instance.

-While I'm a long term Sony fan, I dislike how they didn't focus as much online as Microsoft did with live. Ps plus is changing that however.
-Also don't like blatantly copying the Wii with Move. Liek, seriously Sony?

-For Microsoft, I dislike how they focused too much on Kinect. I don't care about Kinect as a core gamer. Also I dislike how they pay boat loads of money for exclusive Dlc. Exclusive games I can understand but I don't like the concept behind exclusive dlc....
-Also don't like how average gamers in the US like 360 more than Ps3. Don't understand why, it just has more US appeal I guess.

-For Nintendo, I really dislike their focus on games. IMO they could have brought Sony and MS to stop making consoles if they had a more powerful Wii from the beginning that could run all the third party games.
-Also Y U NO POKEMON MMO??

Because the economy would fall apart if millions of people stopped working to play it :P

When I was young, "A" was popular but as I grew older, "B" became popular. As a fan of "A", I felt threatened so I began to hate "B". "C" is cool, though. "C" is a threat to "B" so I wish "C" the best of luck.

I don't hate any console. I don't like Microsoft the company due to past history of monopolistic behaviour in the PC space, but they have some great exclusives for their system. I have played all major consoles, but don't own all three (there are a limited number of dollars to go around). I have settled happily into a Steam/Nintendo solution which is working well for me... and likely will through the coming generation as well. The other consoles are fine, and I envy certain exclusives, I just can't justify the expense. No next gen console will compare to the capabilities of a current high end PC, and Nintendo has the best exclusives especially with an 8 year old in the house... simple weighing of the pros and cons, no hate required.

I agree. These topics are really annoying and senseless.

This is true. But how awesomesauce would that be? Here's my idea:

Game is on 3ds for visuals, but does not support 3d play. Still a top down classic Pokemon game, but with improved visuals/sound. Multiple servers that have like thousands of people on each. It encompasses the Kanto, Johto, and Hoen Regions at first with another expansion coming out in the future with the regions from Diamond/Pearl, Black/white and X/y.

You can choose boy or girl, starters blah blah blah. You can also choose what role you are. For instance: you can be a hero (the guy you always play as in Pokemon), you can be a member of Team Rocket or other evil organizations, You can be a gym leader, you can be a regular trainer, a Pokemon breeder, ect. Different roles have different paths but you can also just make a new character. The different roles make up the community and make it interesting. You have a friends list of trainers. You can call them anytime and chat via the packed in 3ds headset and battle them. 

I actually should start a thread with all the ideas I have for this.....
