You guys surely didn't had a Wii, right? I mean, Wii is crawling with those types of games, that's why it was my system of choice last gen, along with my PC.

crawling is a strong word for any system this gen. PS1 that was crawling with JRPGs, SNES, hell yeah. Wii is aight but doesnt come close to the volume of those two. Now where are these 3D plats. Outside of the 2 Mickeys and 2 Marios I havent seen any. No really, i would like to know.

Hm... Nights and Sonic games count?

there was one Nights game and I did count the Sonic games, but they still dont come close to the volume of the PS1 era, I would be hard pressed to call the secret rings a platform game, you didnt even control Sonic half the time.

Eh in Sonic games, you're running forward 90% of the time anyway.  Besides, it's 3d and he jumps on a lot of platforms, so I'd count it.

Also, De Blob 1/2 and Dewey's Adventure.

Ah, yeah, Jett Rocket was awesome, forgot completely about it. Also, there's The Kore Gang which is a great 3D platformer for the Wii. But, really, thinking a little better now of course PS1 era had the most 3D platformers. But at least Wii is better in that regard compared to 360 and PS3.

You should grab a Wii, it has lots of these games you apparently think are being neglected.
