Those genres were not long neglected. They thrived well and far better on Nintendo consoles.

LBP, Ratchet, Rayman, and several PSN games have been really good platformers this gen. Hell my name is what it is because its my favorite genre and PS3 is my favorite platform this gen.

Xenoblade and SMG did both genres better and hit earlier.

Agreed! Getting Ni No Kuni soon and Sly Cooper is only $40 so I'll be getting that launch!

As usual Turkish you make another poor thread and ignore nintendo completely. Nintendo dominates in both those genres already.  Last time I checked Mario and Pokemon has potenital of selling 20m+ and they have plenty of other games in the genre that does much more than both ni No kuni and Sly. Now im going to leave this thread.
