Forums - Sony - PS4 to launch in JP and US in 2013, and in EU 2014? More powerful than x3ox and with small touchscreen in new controller?

No doubt about that, but they're not affected by Sony's 1st party games as much as people are by Nintendo's. This is very evident in the sales of every Sony franchises, with the exception of GT.

it should just launch in 2014, more time to polish the hardware ensuring a low failure rate. also more time to build up the hype, a 2013 release would happen all of a sudden.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the rumors stated that it was a touchpad on the controller, not a touchscreen.

All I'm saying is that if Nintendo got the same 3rd party support as Sony and MS, and MS and SOny didn't offer a similar hook as motion controls, Nintendo would dominate becuase of their 1st party games. But this thread isn't about Nintendo, now is it? ^^

If they can release before the next-box, they might have the better sales unless MS are hiding something unique.
