There's a rumor about a tent mechanic. Epona has the tent in its backm and there's an icon on the zoomed map.

Hmmm I've heard talks about a sleeping bag or something, so that's probably the same thing. So the theory is that you set up some form of base camp when you travel? I like that idea! It's always irked me that you don't really have to sleep or eat anything in RPGs, so I hope Zelda U will have some sort of that mechanic. Which icon are you talking about? The village or the... other icon, which we can't reallt make out?

I love that idea! Maybe it replenishes your stamina, or protects you from the elements, or something like that.

I have see mentioned but almost no one has speculated a lot of it.

Yes, something like that would be so cool! Just a little bit of survival thrown in there. Like, picking and eating apples could replenish your hearts. Sleeping could replenish hearts, cure certain diseases and speed up time. I'm actually a little bored with all the health potions that's it every damn RPG

Yeah, I haven't seen all that much speculation about it either. Do you think it could be a tent? Wouldn't it make more sense to actually pack up the tent when you ride off on Epona? Why leave the tent behind like that? But like I said to veknoid, I hope this indicate just a little bit of survival mechanics thrown in there.

I believe you actully pack once you ride Epona. The icon is there alongside Epona, and maybe they just cut off the part when Link packs the tent.
