It's a marketing stint. I am sure not all the people who bought god war III or the people who will buy god:a knows last of us. Those people might got interested with this game. At the same time those who are very hype with Last of us might consider getting the game equals more sales from gow:a. I don't see anything bad from it because it's a win-win situation for Sony.

I have played the Ascension beta. It was garbage.

I have RE on my 3DS. It's a great RE game.

it's not like I'm offended by it but you are insulting the game and franchise and when it's an exclusive and you've said a lot of anti-sony things in the past it seems like you're just trolling.  Maybe should've been more like "not really worth the $60 for me, but I'll give it a rental now" or "not really into GoW, but I'll rent it now" or just a simple imo on any of the above.  It just sounds like you're saying GoW games are only worth rentals if they have demos of "better" games with them or single player games aren't worth full purchases (which I would argue against I still have all the GoWs and play through them once a year usually like Uncharted, Ratchet, Resistance 3, Batman, Heavy Rain, Infamous, and the old GTAs)
