HD tv's we're expensive, And everybody said it will never succeed, and look what happened everybody has one. just because it's Sony doesn't you have to bash everything they do.

Its a smartphone. Certainly no Galaxy S3 or Iphone 5. I mean groundbreaking stuff, like the walkman was, not just doing their own take on long established technology.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Prices dropped offcourse, but again 4k isnt groundbreaking, its just progress, certainly not the jump from tube tv to HD tv. Sorry I just take issue with Sony being treated with religious zeal.

They didn't succeed. Prices had to be lowered to the point where no TV maker has made any money these last few years. 3D has little penetration and that has far more launch content and more reasonable prices than 4K will. And I'm seeing no great consumer demand for 4K, unlike a lot for 3D initially (Avatar) and for HD.

iPhone 5 is not really new technology, it's just took what iPhone 4 and 4s did and gave it a bigger screen and better processor, thats really it. iPhone 4 was a far bigger brake through with it's retina display. Hell the first iPhone was a bigger break through than the iPhone 5
Sony's phone may not be a break through, but what other smartphone is waterproof, dustproof and has a extremely durable screen? iPhone 5 and Samsung galaxy s3 clearly don't.
