gears is the only Xbox game that interests me but this one looks a bit weird. Why is it cartoon like?

I used to love Gears of War, at the time 1 & 2 were probably my favourite games ever... then Gears of War 3 came along and after spending £100 on the Collector's Edition day one and being incredibly hyped to play it, the game disappointed me so much that now I can't even stand to see what they're doing with the franchise in Gears of War: Judgment. I don't like anything I've seen about it, it's funny because a few years ago I would never have guessed that one of my favourite series would become something so soulless and stale, I'd be happy if they just left the IP alone and moved onto something else... The Samaritan Tech Demo looks like it could make for an awesome new exclusive franchise for the Xbox 720.

(Yes, I'll probably buy Gears of War: Judgment for old times' sake, but only at a bargain bin price. Hopefully it's much better than Gears of War 3).

God your sig is amazing! God of War A will be amazing

Loved part 1
Despised part 2
Liked part 3

Dunno what to think here. As long as they stick to action and gameplay and do go all cinematic and on rails like Gears 2, I don't think I'll regret my purchase.

So how is the online in GoW3? I only played it in the beta.

Gears 1 blew me away with its online play. That canal map, the Mansion map, the roadway one with the cars, some others. Some of the most team oriented, tactical MP this gen. But the host advantage was abysmal. Gears 2 was just pure **** online. Lag, glitches, etc.

I read Gears 3 would have dedicated servers, but I read recently you had to buy DLC to use the servers?

looks good,i enjoyed gears when i played them but have only played 1 & 2
