Link before the last one. He was faster and could attack at varies distances. I guess Zelda now. Young Link was totally cool though and the Ice Climbers double teaming tatics are funny.

Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move,  and Kinect.

Bowser, Lucario, Peach, and Yoshi

Jigglypuff is by far my favourite. Unreliable, crazy and suicidal. What's there not to love!?

Marth/Ike depends if i wanted speed or power. Their deflect was very useful in battles and i barely ever lost with these 2.. Then probably ice climbers, if you train well with them they're really good. So many people would get mad when they killed my ai partner instead of me.

I used to main Fox and Zelda, but they nerfed them for brawl.

it's something i'll have to work on when the new smash bors comes out. MK, Wolf, and the characters not in the top 10 that i listed, depends on the day.

yea i hate suit samus, but on a good day, i get the brawl ball and Zero suit becomes a game ender.

Eh... it's not anything you really have to work on.  The great thing about Brawl is that it works as a fun game to mess around with your friends.  Of course, you could also waste a stupid amount of time on it like I did if you want to be competitive about it :p  MK's potential isn't going to come out unless you put a lot of time and effort into the game, and tbh it's not worth it unless you want to like play in tournaments and stuff like that.

To make a long story short, unless you plan on tournament play, pick whoever you like best and roll with it.

wasn't MK bannd from tournaments? i can't say MK was the fav. of those i played with, considering his FS. no one likes being killed by their teammate.

i think the AI got harder when we hacked the Wii. those bastards would turn the tied soon as you got going., and we had a 7 death's comback FS glitch after the hack.

MK was sort of banned for a little while.  There is no official Brawl authority who can really decide to ban a character.  A group of people who ran large tournaments tried their best to get a ban going, but there was no real way to enforce it, and eventually it was just dropped.

Final Smashes don't matter much, because pretty much any major tournament is going to not use items.

did the AI seem impossible at times to beat. i still think it's because we had a hacked console.

Mainly Falco. I used Mewtwo as my main character in Melee, but Nintendo decided to remove him :'(

I don't really know.  Unless you actually hacked Brawl, I don't think that should influence.  Characters on lvl 9 or so have reaction times quicker than any human could possibly have, but they're also pretty predictable.  They can be challenging, but not really impossible.

no just the console. man i can't explain it but, imagine having a 5 kill lead over the AI only to lose in the end. or having matchs where you don't have more then a 2 kill lead. and imagine a tag match were the AI attacks one person the whole game.

IDK.  I've known a lot of Brawl players who hacked their Wiis for Brawl.  It's pretty common for tournament players to hack the Wii to disable tripping, add custom stage backgrounds or music, etc.  Never heard of anything like that.
