These days the only news coming out for PS3 are regarding either the delay or the cancellation of the game. so is there any chance that this trend will stop? and when should we expect to start hearing some news regarding new games for PS3...

For me if Sony manages to keep the number of games lost or cancelled or delayed for PS3 remains less than 20 for 2008 and number of new games announced for PS3 for 2008 is greater than 15, then this will be pretty impressive... i m not talking abt PSN games...

only game that i heard was cancelled was frontlines...

game delays happen for all systems.. smashbrothers has been delayed ... splintercell conviction has been delayed two times already .. delays happen...

New games as in releases or new games as in announcements?

Next Ps3 releases should be, according to IGN, 2/5 which are DMC4 and Turok.

And as for game announcements wait for GDC.

only thing that was announced last year at GDC was HOME.. so expect more on that...

The ps3 has loads of games in the works. Resistance 2 was just announced, and we have yet to see what the next games from Naughty Dog, Team Ico, Incognito, Zipper, Sony Santa Monica, Ninja Theory, and Factor 5 will be.

By new games i mean new announcements, the titles which have not been known for PS3 as of yet..

Lair was one of those games that need to be delayed badly. So it's the best example of what happens when a game isn't delayed that needed more work/time.
