I wouldn't have released on the PSVita. If the console isn't selling all too well then the SW (I doubt) would be selling all too well, it might've been a waste to port it over to the Vita for very little sales.

They think is not worth it. The game is targeted at kids and needless to say, the Vita doesn't target young kinds, plus the install base is very low on the console.
