Forums - Gaming Discussion - EA Calls Fox Out on Insulting Mass Effect Inaccuracies

This isn't a knock on EA, but is there any game company out there that WOULDN'T respond to blatant lies about their product for the sake of a sensationalistic news story?

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I thought the most offensive part of the report was when the guy in the "panel" referred to Mass Effect as "Luke Skywalker meets Debbie Does Dallas".

I found their characterization of the game to be extremely insulting to the developers, and I'm glad that EA pointed that out in this communication.

Hates Nomura.

Good job, EA! Hopefully foxnews will run a retraction.. but I doubt they ever do.

my god EA held nothing back in that letter did they? the total hypocricy of a channel that airs Family Guy saying a game rated Mature is a bad infleunce and aimed at kids.

Anyone see the episode of Family Guy when peter took ecstacy?

That's good.  EA is still big and evil, but that's really good.

I was actually thinking of the episode where Peter had his own TV station and had the sideboob hour.

I don't know why people have so much of a problem with EA. Their Sports and Sims divisions are rehash-city, but the other divisions actually produce a lot of good games.

EA has peed in a lot of people's Cheerios in its company history.

I really do hate Fox.
