People use the new year as an excuse to change who they are, and that's the thing, you have every single day to do that, so why wait until the next year? If that is your motivation, that you have to wait just to gain the courage to change, then I predict most resolutions to fail. Today is a fact, tomorrow is a myth. Stop waiting.

Go ahead and prove me wrong and show me when you achieve your goal(s) but this is how I see it.  I try every day to move forward and watch people around me being lazy so I don't believe a resolution will change that but as I said prove me wrong.  Use this as motivation to prove me wrong.  But I'm always right, just ask me, I'll tell you :P

well now...i'm not gonna have any resolution..no more motivation from me. you may have ruined my life...

What you've said has already kind of been proven...
With weight loss it's been shown that those who start to lose weight without a goal e.g. need to lose weight so my children have a parent in the years to come, are much more successful in losing weight and keeping it off then those with goals e.g. new years resolution or to fit into a dress.

As you said, if people want to change, they can do it anytime of the year, not just on 1st Jan.

Your resolution to create double post a thread seems to have come true....

Mine is just "self improvement." I leave it vague enough so that it is easy to do...

oops lol i didn't even notice that lol  Kind of wish you would have locked this one instead of the other though because people were commenting in that one haha

lol. My bad. I locked the one that was opened last because when I was typing, nothing had been posted yet. :(
