So I have been thinking. The beta is basically split into two sets of warriors, spartans vs Trojans. This got me thinking what if, the battle of Troy was a huge part of the single player campaign? 

They are also offering pre order bonuses in the form of popular greek heroes such as Achilles. 

So either the battle of troy is the angle they are using on the multiplayer OR it's part of the single player campaign. WOuldn't it be just fantastic if they do use it in the SP? So much potential. All the famous warriors, and greek gods fighting it out. 

By the way remind me if they have used the battle in a previous gow title as I do not recall it happening yet.

I don't think so but maybe some of those characters will show up in the single player campaign. I wouldn't want the actual battle to take place during the game, it serves no point to Kratos' story and there's much better things they can and will do. And the only other God of War that had a battle going on was GoW: Chains of Olympus which has the Persians VS Greeks.

oh I disagree. Depending how they want to tell the story there's a lot of potential on how Kratos can play a part in how the war started, how it was done and also on how it ended. 

I would love to see Kratos vs Orion/Achillies etc. The rise of the ultimate warrior

If Kratos encounteres those guys, I will fucking lose my mind on how bad ass it'd be xD

Does anyone else really feel like the MP is just insane? Like in particular in team favor of the gods: How the fuck did they manage to make a map that.. big with a fucking cyclops/titan?! Guy is huge and you can even interact with him by hitting him / he hitting back / moving / killing etc. Just insane!
