Hello, people of VGChartz.
I made a thread on this very subject almost a year ago and thought it was time for a new round now that several new users have joined this community and since I'm sure that a lot of you have accomplished many new epic gaming related things throughout this year. So, without further ado, here is my updated list of what I consider my greatest gaming related accomplishments:
5. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - Severe Handicap Mode

A weapon whose value increased dramatically.
What is this severe handicap that I'm talking about? Well, I was not allowed to use my sword or my shield*, any bottles, fire arrows, Epona, maps, compasses or pick up any additional heart containers. So yeah, while completing the game with three heart containers, no fairies and equipment disabilities may sound like a suicide mission, I managed to pull through.
*Exceptions include defeating the green deku scrubs who can only be defeated with the deku shield, Bongo Bongo who can only be damaged with the sword and the final blow on Ganon which has to be made by the Master Sword.
4. Dead Space 2 - Hardcore difficulty

Quite possibly the only game where you actually get to shoot the annoying kids
Yup, only being able to save at three separate points in an entire five-six hour story mode didn't stop me from beating this game from start to finish. The save points limitation was not my only problem though: Death resulted in respawning at the latest save file! Seriously, at one point I managed to play through about 60% of the entire story mode without a single save, and then the motherfucking Xbox froze!
All that frustration aside though, I eventually made it. Proving once and for all that I am a hardcore gamer by definition.
3. Halo: Reach - Completed Legendary difficulty with no deaths

Just me, in the hour of victory.
At this point most people should be aware that this is something that I simply will not shut up about, and for good reasons: I completed every single campaign mission on Legendary without dying (and saved the replay videos as proof); An accomplishment most gamers can only dream of achieving.
2. Guitar Hero III - Through the Fire and Flames

Actual in-game footage of said song.
I believe it was back in 2009 when I finally managed to complete this whole song of pure pain on the Expert difficulty, following months of training, one guitar replacement, blood, sweat and tears. It was not until several months later though that this achievement was crowned when I managed to get five stars and over 90% on the same run.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
1. Luigi's Mansion - Completed the entire game with all lights turned off

Lol, just kidding, folks!
...I would never play that horrifying game with all my lights turned off D:
My actual number one would be completing the Classic mode on Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Very Hard difficulty while only losing two lives. And no, I didn't use some sort of cowardly method. It was all completed through fair fighting using Ganondorf.
Anyway, enough about me. What have you accomplished throughout the years?
