EDIT: Reason for delay is that the developer just needs a little more time to 'finish' the title (that means tweaking characters and balancing the game i guess...) 

it goes along he lines or delaying and releasing a great game...or rushing and releasing a turd

Most of you guys can't read it... But here's the link anyway! 

Translation:

The president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, has offered his apologies for the delay recently declared for Super Smash Bros.. Brawl. The poor Japanese and Americans have to wait a few extra weeks to the game. That took them all not fun, but they are trying Iwata a heart under the belt to stabbing. The delay is due to him the simple fact that the developer needs more time for the game to make.

Although, of course, very noble is that Iwata excuses offered for a few weeks delay, we are very curious when we Europeans now agree the respect of Iwata get what we deserve. A European official release date is still not! Well, there are obviously a lot of screenshots, a few beautiful videos and a lot of information.
