Yea there are a lot of 3rd person cover shooters with co-op for 1 month, tho I guess Tomb Raider has some other stuff going on

I don't know why but this line really made me laugh, thanks :P

You can run and jump on things!

But not swim, lara would drown instantly, except in the intro where she swims to shore of course.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Around the Network

Looks like a solid game. Will probably be a lot of fun. Pity nobody will know it.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Insomniac seems to be slipping >.> I swear if FROM software messes up I think I'll lose hope for the future of diversity in gaming.

To quote FPS Russia from the Black Ops 2 "Surprise" ad... "Not good."

Thanks for the info.  And that is major ouch.  So, wait, EA is releasing ANOTHER cover based Third-person shooter same month Fuse is coming out?  ARE THEY CRAZY?

That's EA partners for you lol. And I would be that EA will be pushing their game harder in terms of marketing than a partners release, both are being sent out to die against Gears of X360 and they are going against God of War on PS3. I think that Metro: LL may also release in March to make it all worse, poor THQ probably can't afford to delay it any more and a I fear that it too might get burried a bit next to Bioshock.

Also keep in mind that Dead Space 3 is February 5 and Crysis 3 is February 19 from EA, Aliens: Colonial Marines from SEGA on the 12th of Feb. So it's not like they are coming out of a dry patch ether. Q1 seems to be the new Q4...

There seems to be this thing that happens with companies seeing things and reaching the same conclusion here.  They don't spread out, go for the same time period, and overdo it.  They wanted to avoid the holiday rush and so on.  I am seeing some Nash's Equilibrium in this, with lack of coordinating resulting in too much competition clustered.

Another thing here i am thinking is that there probably will be the new platforms announced and maybe set to release next year from Microsoft and/or Sony.  End result is that this is the last hurrah for the current generation, so have everything hit early before the announcement and try to get a last bit of sales.  Figure they don't want to run into things this holiday season, unless really, really done, so they add polish and come out next year, right before the announcements.  So you have a buzzsaw in a dry season going on at this point.  Maybe the new platform(s) will be backwards compatible, so it doesn't hurt to end up getting a bunch out that the new platforms can play.

So, bigger picture, it likely hints to next generation kicking in next year.  If not, you would think they would spread out to next holiday season, right?  Anyone here see any this generation releases set for next holiday season release?
