I feel like I am missing out by not owning a PSP.

Lots of cheap games out there and still doing good in Japan plus the homebrew.

Nah I wouldn't bother with a PSP. Just stick with the 3DS. Especially since this thread was never intended to be about getting a PSP.

Let's discuss you maybe. You are clearly obsessed with the Vita. Every post, on any topic, you somehow manage to relate to Vita selling poorly. This thread itself is a lame attempt at a Vita jab, as we are obviously led to believe Vita would be "Sony's handheld", but you threw that brilliant curveball with PSP in the first line.

Well, at the time, the PSP was my favorite portable console, ever. It had great JRPG's, manly games like Peacewalker and Portable Ops, it could play movies, music, etc. It had great graphics. It was just about perfect.

I got the 3DS and my love affair with the PSP pretty much came to an end. 3DS had Super Street Fighter, RE: Revalaitons, Snake Eater, etc. AND some awesome Nintendo titles like Ocarina of Time, Starfox, Mario Kart, etc.

Now, I favor the Vita. It seems that the 3DS's wealth of "manly" games has run dry and all I have to look forward to is Nintendo's own titles. I still love my 3DS and I play it a lot (almost daily) but the Vita seems to fit my gaming needs a bit more. You want a PSP? Go for it. 80% of my PSP titles (over twenty) work on the Vita so I'm good, there. Never was interested in Homebrew but if it's just the core PSP experience you want, go with the PSP or the Vita. You've really been missing out by sticking to one brand.

Buy a PSP. You won't regret it. :D

ugh, I hated my PSP. It is the only console I've ever owned that I didnt like. If you are going to pick up a playstation handheld pick up the Vita. It can dload PSP games on it. Persona 4 is really good and Im assuming the PSP persona are good too. I dont know about the rest of the Vita games but Gravity Daze is suppose to be good.

I've noticed that in every weekly sales thread.  I don't know if I've ever seen this guy make a post that wasn't intended to insult the Vita or Vita owners.  I can't even understand the point of that.
