Updated with latest data from Aug10th!

WiiU still rising. 2nd highest individual week the Mar/Apr results after Lego City released.

However, at 37k, its not on track at this point to break 200k for month. Here's hoping for a better week next week to continue the climb back to "normal".

Not as big a NA bump as I was expecting, but still a decent bump nonetheless.

Aug 17th data added. Wii U minor dip from last week and only 71k 1/2 through month.

Have to see how it can do with various games coming in other regions this month.

i apreciate your effort SuperC

Still can't believe people actually believed Iwata saying they wouldn't cut the price.

Not the drop to $250 like I was expecting, but still having the "good" sku $100 cheaper than the PS4 should help a lot.

Definitely. I was strongly hoping they'd drop the price in Sept. It only made perfect sense. Additionally, their showing smarts in bundling the console too.

You have the base NL bundle, the likely running out ZombiU bundle (game+procontroller) and now this awesome Zelda bundle with special gamepad. I'd expect to see other bundles as the holidays roar on and that will surely send my charts back up, up UP!

Ok, added a new poll for the next couple weeks.

This year Wii U best month was 283,000 in January. However, in September you have a multitude of big games that are sweetening the deal over the recent launches of Pikmin3 and Splintercell. Above all you have a $50 price cut to $299 for not only the now standard 32GB NintendoLand bundle, but also a new Zelda bundle with unique gamepad design.

Assuming Nintendo throws out good marketing, do you think this will become Wii U's best month this year reaching 300,000 and beyond?

Should do. Even without the price cut I believed the Wii U would have an installed userbase over 8m before the end of the year but now with that price cut I'd say it's a nailed on certainty.

1m between now and 31st October and 4m+ between 1st November and 31st December. No problem at all given the software on the way and the price cut.

Not the 10-15m I originally thought before the console launched but then I wasn't expecting a ridiculous 8 month software drought!

Aug 24th data included.

Looks like not only Will Wii U not hit 200k but it won't even beat last months.

However, here's looking forward to September with some top games releasing as well as a price cut overall and likely a new marketing push from Nintendo.

well, we're back to the 20's....
