So by the looks of it Wii U should be around 3.3m by the end of June which is a few 100k behind PS360 in the same time frime. In the second half of the year with big games releasing+new marketing campaign+price cut/better bundles and a strong holiday season, I think Wii U can end the year around 8-9 million which is the same range that PS360 had at the end of there first full year.

Yep. I think 10m isn't completely out of reach, but 8-9 is definitely doable with games and quality advertising/pricing.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying not being to check an up to date DS vs 3DS chart. It'd be interesting to see the Vita aligned vs the last gen and Wii U as well.

I've been keeping track in a similar way to superchunk, but I've included the Vita, and I'm only using NPD and Media Create numbers. The Wii U is about 630,000 units ahead of the Vita's pace in just those two countries alone.

^ European numbers going off VGcharts aligned would seem to bring it down to a roughly 0.5 million difference, which would realistically be around the same difference the Wii U/PS3 gap will end up in at the end of June.

Still, seeing the actual trend on a graph would be nice.
