Woah I forgot about sorcery!  That game has been hyped to be the best move game for years if its the game Im thinking of

Yep, that one.  If I were making your list, I'd put it just behind Fable: The Journey.  Both hyped a fair bit, both failed to deliver, but Fable had IP recognition behind it making it more of a flop in my eyes.

Personally not sure if I would have Fable: The Journey on the list.

Sure it has fables name, but i don't recal a single person not luaghing at the first presentation of it and going "WTF, we don't want that"

i wouldn't call battle royale with 76 a flop or resi 6 with 3m+

Battle Royeale is the biggest sony title this year and people expected it to do a lot better.  It isn't charting very well and the score is not great either.  For a game that has been wanted for more than a decade this has been a huge dissapointment.  Resident evil sold well off of its brand name, not off of quality.  Over all they hurt there brand name though by selling a bad game.

How do you know this? It's possible that the majority of gamers loved Resident Evil 6. Most people don't care about Metacritic.

Isn't that just what I said?  People bought it because of it's name, meaning they got it because they like resident evil.  However when they play it and don't like it then it will make them second guess future installment correct?  Metacritic is just used to give you an idea of what people will think of the game.

Nope. It's the exact opposite. You're saying most people were disappointed Re6. How do you know this?

Before I have yet another dumb debate with you, let me ask what you are basing your argument around before we get into this?  You can't prove people are enjoying it and if you look at user scores from multiple sites and critic scores people are pissed with resident evil 6.  So tell me what is your argument *sigh*

I'd add Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle to the list of flops.

Isn't it doing well so far? It only launched in N. America 5 weeks ago.

Yea i'm planning on picking up Professor Layton sometime soon.  Was really upset it was not a launch game like it was in Japan.  It was a launch there right?  Or it came out in other regions it seemed relatively quick, yet we have to wait a year.

I think there needs to be a time constraint for some of these games. All flops coming about within the last 20-25 days seems kinda absurd to me.

Resi 6 was a super flop. So disapointing. Even more annoying is I know I will buy it again when it comes to Wii U.

Why on earth you will re-buy a game that you don't like?

Its the price of being a fan of the series and also the faint hope that the WiiU version will be better. lol.

Get 2 copies of Zombie U instead.  Maybe that will force Capcom to finally realize that fans want Resident Evil back to how it was.  A Survival Horror game.

I have made no assertions. I have made no arguments. I don't have anything to back up. I'm merely asking a question. I'd like to know where you're getting your data.

It is you, Jaywood, who is making the assertions. You are saying most people were disappointed with Resident Evil 6. You are making the claim. It is your job to back up the claim.

Internet reviews are not representative of the general population. They represent the minority, not the majority. Your argument is invalid, at the moment.

It is more data than you have given.  Would you say people are happy with resident Evil 6 then?  And give a reason for your answer.  You do this all the time with me so I don't see this as an assumption anymore.  Not essertion by the way.

Do I assume people are upset with Resident Evil 6?  yes i do seeing as how everybody Ive talked to in person and on the internet has talked about how dissapointing it has been because they went the action route with a bad story line.

So you base your assessment of the general population based on your limited anecdotes and internet reviews which represent the minority? And you admit that this is just your personal assumption?

Thank you. That's all I needed to know.

So you have no argument then.  how about actually replying to my stuff or quoting me by the way....

You come in here as usual complain how you disagree with something yet have nothing to back it up.  There has been no argueing in this entire thread and comments have been pretty decent.  Most people seem to agree with a few who thinks maybe one game should change which is understandable.  If you disagree about Resident Evil 6 then that is fine. it is your opinion after all but plenty of people do agree so before coming in here and claiming dominance at least have an argument or be reasonable, which you are neither.

And if you haven't noticed, if people give valid reason I do change and update this thread.

Black Ops Declassified got ripped to shreds after the Gamescom presentation for it and everyone's expectations fell through the floor.  But brand name is brand name, and I'd have expected better from Fable, just as I can understand people expecting more from Call of Duty.

Last entry (3) sold 5 million, 1 million in the first week on sale.  Less than 100k from The Journey in 2 months is a humongous drop.  I actually think it's the biggest flop on this list, but I won't get into that now :P
