Just read some of the comments from their users. 


LMFAO at the comments on that second article. The rampant mental retardation that permeates the comment section is what makes that site so much fun to go to. Deranged fanboys so steeped in their own ignorant viewpoints that "reason" and "logic" have lost all meaning to them. Honestly, it's the only site I've been to where you can get disagreed into oblivion for asking a simple question.

Actually, I flipped my stance.  I would rather see Microsoft exit than Sony.  Although I'd rather see Microsoft stay as one of the big 3 than Apple or anyone else enter the home console market.  The more competition the better but I just have a biased against Microsoft that has only grown more and more lately.  My dislike for Sony came from unreliable hardware (PS1, PS2 early models) and their fans (which I don't really care what they say anymore).  My dislike for Microsoft mainly just comes from the company (I just don't like them).


i assume you are for nintendo then?  This whole statement in my opinion makes you look bad.  Nintendo hasn't been perfect either so when you criticise others you need to step back for a moment.

I would say yes considering there is Nintendo in my name.  I have used the Nintendo + PC combo since the late 90s.  I have owned other non Nintendo systems (Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, PS1).  Sure, Nintendo hasn't been perfect.  There are pros and cons for all home console systems.

I will not pretend that I am unbiased and if people dislike me for being biased towards certain companies then so be it.  I don't think I need to take a step back because every single mishap Nintendo makes is usually brought up on all gaming sites.

The average consumer could care less about real sales numbers. They just like to fling comments at companies they don't like. (False accusations to be exact.)

It's kind of like a monkey in a poop flinging fight. They don't have too much of a reason to throw the poop other than them not like that other person/monkey.

I had to edit in that no, I don't think average consumers are dumb. They are just average consumers. End of story. :P
