Oh sweet, I just noticed there's a demo up for it on XBL. DL'ing it at the moment :) Gonna have to try it out later tonight!

Well I got it with my Japanese XBL account (as I'm in JP), maybe it's on the Japanese PSN store? 

I finished dl'ing the demo(683MB file), but haven't played it yet... 

Well I just finished trying it out and it's pretty damn cool. I've never played the PS2 ones, so I'm not sure how it compares. The graphics are really damn good looking! It's pretty easy to pick up on the gameplay, too.

There are 2 modes in the demo. The first is I'm assuming the "regular mode" and you can play that for ten minutes (there is a countdown timer in the upper left corner). The other mode starts you out in the snow and you can play until you die basically. I died twice fighting that big fire "dog" looking creature with a big sword. (I think it was in the trailer?) :( Here we go, this thing:

Anyway, overall it was pretty fun. I'm now seriously considering getting this game for the 360!

The DMC4 demo is available in all regions on Xbox Live. It's for gold members only for this week, btw.

I've been playing the demo for hours! It's not as good as Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but it's still a great game. I will be buying this day one.

Fantastic demo, better than I imagined, looks better and runs faster than I expected. Nero plays better than Dante, devil arm brings so much to the game, most combo driven DMC I've played.

Both versions are identical as far as I could tell, both run extremely smoothly all the way through. Developers need to learn how to make games that run this well. Day 1 guaranteed purchase. Single complaint: lock on should by default be on trigger or R2.
