Forums - General - Spamming?

Ok.  There are a lot of people spamming to abuse the system and get lots of posts or VGC or maybe just for fun, but should the spam posts be considered part of their post count?  I don't want to name names, *cough* Brute *cough* and *cough* leo-j *cough* and *cough* Soriku *cough* are all spammers and have spammed to get their abnormally high post count, and people who actually post content in their post instead of ":)" "lol" or something of the like have lower post counts.  Shouldn't spammers get a certain number of posts docked to keep things fair and in line?

Community criticism has led to many moderators becoming exceedingly lenient.

Soriku and Leo-J can't be helped, but we should consider cracking down on spamming.

Soriku doesn't really spam - he just likes to post a lot

@ wiiforever

So posting "lol" ":)" ":(" ":P" or any variation thereof is actually called "posting"?

well, if it's appropriate. I mean, sometimes, that's what comes to ur mind

It's the VG$ money that's doing it. Money is the root of all evil.

Post count and profile views are useless too. It doesn't matter that the money is a lie.

there should be a use for the money
